ST. JOHN`S, Antigua, Mon. Jan. 26, 2009: A 38-year-old Australian yachtsman has been killed in Antigua, months after the killing of British honeymooning couple, Benjamin and Catherine Mullany.

Police on the island are looking for the killer of Drew Gollan, who was apparently shot dead in a mugging near a police station at English Harbour.

His girlfriend survived but was nursing a gunshot wound to the foot. The alleged mugger had tried to snatch the bag of Alena Sitkova as Gollan and their 21-month-old daughter Carolina left a restaurant, the Seven Network reported. Gollan gave chase and was shot twice. His attacker fled in a car, reports indicate.

The killing resulted in Antigua police boosting patrols in the dockyards but many other yachtsmen left the island early following the incident.
